ABOUT
S.H.I.E.L.D. 1 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization addressing local communities' needs throughout the nation. S.H.I.E.L.D. 1 is helping cities recover, revitalize, and rise by improving the life and sustainability of humans, nature, and the economy. Founded in December 2020 by NFL players Josh Norman (Buffalo Bills Cornerback), Demario Davis (New Orleans Saints Linebacker), and Drew Brees (ret. New Orleans Saints Quarterback), they believe that change will not come to those who wait but those who are united to be the change now.
Designed to impact both youth and adult populations, S.H.I.E.L.D. 1's four pillars include agriculture, enterprise, education, and infrastructure, with specific solutions determined by unique community need.
